A bit about how I got here
Most of my work sits behind the scenes—APIs, databases, services talking to each other. I didn't start there on purpose. Early on, I kept hitting walls where the frontend was fine but things broke under load, or deployments were painful, or nobody could explain why a request took four seconds.
That pushed me toward backend development. I like figuring out how data flows, where bottlenecks hide, and how to design systems that still make sense six months later. I've worked on enterprise platforms—from national-scale projects to systems used across regions—and I contribute to open source when I can.
My mindset is simple: write code someone else can maintain, measure before optimizing, and treat reliability as a feature. Good software isn't loud—it just works when people depend on it.
